    FAIRBANKS, Alaska - A man shot a Fairbanks, Alaska, police officer multiple times and then fled in his patrol car early Sunday. Sgt. Allen Brandt sustained serious injuries and was transported to Anchorage for treatment where he was listed in stable condition, according to the Fairbanks Police Department.
